Quality Specialist
I am a Professional Quality Engineer with in-depth knowledge of Inspection (Management), Corrosion & Maintenance Engineering, Fabrication & Construction, Regulations/Statutory requirements, Codes, Standards, Vendors/Manufacturers, Engineering Contractors, Certification bodies, Inspectorates, Quality Management Systems and auditing, incl. Contract management & Budgets.
QA / QC Management, Engineering, Third Party Surveillance / Inspection / DCC Document control/ NDE, Training, and Auditing services on domestic and international projects. Proven ability at all levels of operations from corporate to field; specific experience and responsibilities including corporate company-wide QMS planning and operations; project QMS planning and management; supplier operations surveillance; product inspections, NDE surveillance; training of personnel to achieve specific project quality requirements; auditing of processes against project or contract defined requirements at all levels of operations.
Developing internal quality requirements, audit and ITPs for suppliers, including providing technical assistance to Lower Tier suppliers QMS as needed to assure and control quality.
Assist and support safety program development and management. (HSEQ Management)

On Piping & Mechanical:
Promote safety awareness and safe performance among site team members, Contractor and Sub-contractor personnel to achieve Goal Zero. Participate in daily tool box meetings and all HSE initiatives.Provide input to and review Contractor’s construction schedule in relation to piping activities to ensure the schedule is realistic and meets Project expectations.Monitor the project approved for piping construction drawings and specifications.Fllow of the Industrial Codes, Standards, and Practices as referenced by the project specifications.Monitor the Inspection & Testing Plan and Quality Procedures. Review and comment on piping systems drawings, AFC & IFC, and P&IDs.Verify and monitor the establishment and adherence to project accepted material tracking, welding, and NDE procedures.
Coordinate the establishment and adherence to Contractor’s Flange Management Procedure. To ensure execution adherence to the Contractor Inspection and Testing Plan, and approved for construction drawings and applicable specifications. Coordinate and report on the quality of the installation of the piping systems.
Report progress, performance, initiatives, issues and challenges to piping Systems Lead.
Provide input to Site Planner for construction progress monitoring and construction issues that will impact the forward plan.Coordinate the establishment and adherence of FPD initiatives relating to piping systems.
Coordinate the witnessing of pre-commissioning activities for piping systems, including system flushing, hydrostatic testing, drying, cleanliness and reinstatement.Coordinate the handing over of piping systems to Commissioning & Start-Up (CSU) team.Review list of piping Systems items for inclusion in the final punch list.
Capture learning’s related to piping construction activities and participate in lessons learned reviews and provide input to appropriate sections in the close-out report.
On Mechanical:
Work-Pack Management in situ, and daily reports created to project management team.
Working at production platforms at the North Sea, looking after Utility Piping and installation.
Job Activities during maintenance fabrication, erection, modification and hydro testing.
as well as post shutdown works of total plant insulation. 
Technical assistance for scheduling the assigned works.
Review and establish the contractual requirements as well as site specific procedures and responsibilities for tool, equipment and materials.
Ensure piping isometrics are installed against approved design for fabrication and erection 
Abstracting total scope of estimated quantities of piping components for erection, welding, Supports, tagged items and hydro testing. 
Determination of area priorities for installation.
